Yup, it's http://www.wpengine.com - Disclosure - I just signed up as an affiliate of theirs! http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=398777&u=840330&m=41388&urllink=&afftrack= is my aff link if you want to use that (I get a kick back!) - but feel free to not use it and go direct to wpengine, no stress!

Make sure they're right for you first either way though - Here's what I've found pros & cons about them in the last couple of months...

Some drawbacks points I've found with them:

* No ssh access with these guys - the give sftp & phpmyadmin, but not ssh shell access

* They have a list of banned plugins (on their site somewhere! let me know if you can't find it)

* No email hosting - So you'll need to use another host for emails - I've set-up using a cheap 123reg hosting plan for a client, seems to work well. Just point the A records (@ and www) to the wpengine account, and the MX records at 123reg's emails (or you could use your domain registrars, if they offer emails with the domain) <--- give me a shout if you need anything, but I guess you guys can sort it.

Good points I've found:

* They support all plugins I've needed - banned ones seemed to be due to conflicts with their hosting environment, or because they have plugins to do the stuff already

* They have a special 'staging area' - So you can create a mirror of the site on a sub domain with a single click (can take a while as it copies all over to a sub domain in the background) - Very useful for testing tweaks! - Then you can just click another button when ready and roll out the changes. Pretty neat

* Support on their ticket system has so far been very good, and their tech guys know their stuff, which makes a change!

* Website speed scores with G+ and GTmetrix.com speed tests has been very good - they appear to have their shit sorted pretty well in that regards. They have their own caching system, and can exclude pages if needed.

* I found there's a benefit to using an external email service... No mailserver on the domain means less likely to get hacked and used for email spam (it happens! A lot!!!)

* They work hard on security for Wordpress, and say they are so confident you won't be hacked, they'll fix any hacks that happen (more info on their site).

^^^ That said, there are some other key things you can do with WP in terms of security, depending on how you are using the WP CMS... Give me a shout on TS if you'd like any tips? (Unless you guys have it nailed down tight anyway, in which case all good!).

If you're looking for a full dedicated server that you need root access to, these guys won't be any good for you. But if you don't need ssh and you're looking for a host that is a Wordpress specialist, they're not the cheapest, but I've never found better either though!

I'd say drop them a support ticket with your needs and double-check that they're right for you before you sign-up.

Anything I can do to help, give me a heads-up.

Cheers 2yys!

Mike.
