EVENT WILL KICK OFF AT NOON (12:00) EASTERN STANDARD TIME! It will be a team building exercise for random players in the server. Give everyone chance to see how people play.


If we don't have enough people, I will still be doing some sort of small drop for players there.

Hey Mike, I understand how much you love Christmas and wish it could be everyday lol but few people were complaining now that this event is still going on due to them flying helicopters when they are the only ones on and they have to land every 30 minutes, or stop fighting if in a fight for the thing to spawn
Awesome! I'm curious of what you'll come up for the Easter bunny, not sure if I should be scared or excited, right now, I'll remain at both haha

I have watched a video which said to create a ramp snap it to one side then turn on physics mode to let the other side drop.  Every time I try this it doesn't enable the physics portion and it stays horizontal.  Has anyone had success with this?
Can you shoot me the video link? I'd like to fully understand what you are talking about and try to help you out.

Do you have a timeframe on when the event will be?
Most likely, it'll be Saturday. As down to a specific time, I do not because I'm going to do it when there is a good amount of players on.  If we can get enough players on around afternoon time in eastern standard, that would be best time.

EDIT by Mike: This event happened yesterday (Saturday 4th Feb 2017), so is over now... But we'll do another event soon so keep an eye on the forums!.

As the newly promoted admin, I would like to try to host a fun event for us on one of the weekend days. I would like to host it with 5 or more players online. Please, bring your friends. If they are new, let me know, I'll possibly help them out a little during the event. This event is to bring more players to the community and show them that it isn't dead and that admins are still active. If you plan on going, please comment on this! Hope to see some players there!  :) :D ;D

A3 Exile Petunia Bug & Glitch Reporting / Tanoa server issues

The Tanoa server has been having some noticeable issues lately, players believe that it may have been from the most recent Arma update.

  • Server has been getting crazy lag spikes. The lag doesn't stay for long. Longest I've seen was about 45 seconds but it can happen multiple times within 30 minutes.
  • AI are not able to be killed. My team has came across this issue a few times. AI will be sitting in a vehicle and we will attempt to kill them but no matter how much ammo we dump into them or where we shoot them, they will not die. Sometimes, they will even dismount and be able to kill us and we cannot do anything about it.
  • I'm not sure if this is an issue or just a script physic but we've noticed that now vehicles unhook themselves when attached to a helicopter. We aren't sure if it's the way we are flying or if it's just a glitch at this time. Some clarification would be nice.
  • AI will have rocket launchers on them when we are fighting them but once we kill and attempt to loot, the rocket launcher will have disappeared for some reason. Happened more times then I can count. Thus, making it almost impossible to find RPG's.
  • AI's that are in the water swimming for some reason are able to shoot. They were in the middle of the water under a bridge and went from swimming to standing up and walking in the water and shot and killed a player.
  • Little bird is not able to be auto refueled when landed on top of RED gas station. Which brings me to my next issue.
  • Again, not sure if it is script thing or an actual error. The YELLOW gas stations aren't able to auto refuel vehicles, I believe it gives the option but will not as the RED gas station will allow to auto refuel vics.

Unfortunately, I'm probably going to be the only one for a while reporting bugs. So, if I come across a new bug I haven't reported in the past, I will try to shoot it up on forums to bring it some attention. Hope you can do something about these ones!

Awesome, thank you much! It works! Only a few issues with it, but there is away around them if players do the right thing. For example... If chopper is descending and a player repels, that repelling player will hit the rotors and the helicopter will go down because the rotors break, but completely avoidable as long as the players do it correctly.

My suggestion is that you add repelling script so players can repel from the helicopters. This would add easier ways to do missions, as the heli wouldn't have to land to drop off people and risk getting shot at. Also would almost force players to put roofs on their bases so someone just cannot repel in.
